Ac. (NCCAOM), MS, MA, is a licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist with advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), biomedical sciences, microbiology, and biotechnology. Born and raised in the hometown of Huangfumi—an early ancestor of acupuncture—she later trained on acupuncture at one of China’s leading TCM universities, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. During her apprenticeship under a distinguished provincial physician, she treated more than 5,000 patients, gaining extensive clinical experience in various pain management (such as pains in back, neck, leg, head, shoulder, throat, abdomen, knee, and other joints) and comprehensive TCM care. During Yani’s academic years, she published 7 peer‑reviewed publications and received multiple academic awards.\nYani’s clinical approach integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern scientific understanding across both Eastern and Western perspectives to provide thorough, holistic, patient‑centered care. She is committed to compassionate practice and strives to help each patient experience meaningful improvement. Through careful data collection, analysis, and syndrome differentiation, Yani develops effective treatment strategies for a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal pain, neurological recovery, digestive disorders, emotional and mental health concerns, and complex chronic conditions. Patients frequently report not only relief from their primary symptoms but also improvements in sleep, digestion, energy, mental clarity, circulation, flexibility and overall well‑being.
